Super Mario Maker 2 is a side-scrolling platformer game that allows you to play Nintendo’s own premade levels, play and create your own levels, and play levels created by others that are published online. Both Single-player and Multiplayer modes are available for play.

The Super Mario franchise is a fan favorite and letting the players create their own levels with the use of the various things found inside the Super Mario franchise was a game that was never seen before. What’s new with Super Mario Maker 2?
One of the best new features of Super Mario Maker 2, is its included single-player mode. The single-player mode revolves around rebuilding Princess Peach’s castle. The reason why it’s one of the best new features in the game is because as you progress through the story, it teaches you how to combine different elements and tactics to make your own complex levels. The story includes over 100 levels created and designed by Nintendo themselves, and the game allows you to tinker around with them as well.
There are also a ton of new tools, blocks and various other course parts that were added together with some previous game styles from the different Super Mario games. You also have an available option to build levels similar to the look of Super Mario 3D World. Transparent pipes and Catsuit from Super Mario 3D World, that allows you to temporarily climb and cling to walls and pounce on enemies from midair.
The way you play and control the game can change depending on if your Nintendo Switch is in docked or portable mode. The docked mode allows you to control the game using the Joy-Cons while portable mode allows you to use the touch-screen as controls. Super Mario Maker 2 is also very multiplayer friendly, allowing you to team up with your friends to play together either in local or through online co-op
Super Mario Maker 2 for Handheld devices?
For now, Super Mario Maker 2 costs you 59.99$ for a copy on Nintendo Switch. A lot of people has been looking for answers, regarding if Super Mario Maker 2 is going to be available on handheld devices. Sadly, as of the moment the answer is no. You cannot find any type of Super Mario Maker 2 available for playing on any device. It is currently a Nintendo Switch exclusive game and only the Switch users can enjoy and play the game. Nintendo hasn’t said anything regarding Super Mario Maker 2 being available for any other device, but a lot of people are definitely hoping that the game gets a handheld device version in the future. Even though you cannot get Super Mario Maker 2 for any devices other than the Nintendo's, you can instead play another Mario game that is available, Super Mario Run.
