You also have an available option to build levels similar to the look of Super Mario 3D World. Transparent pipes and Catsuit from Super Mario 3D World, that allows you to temporarily climb and cling to walls and pounce on enemies from midair.
The way you play and control the game can change depending on if your Nintendo Switch is in docked or portable mode. The docked mode allows you to control the game using the Joy-Cons while portable mode allows you to use the touch-screen as controls. Super Mario Maker 2 is also very multiplayer friendly, allowing you to team up with your friends to play together either in local or through online co-op

For now, Super Mario Maker 2 costs you 59.99$ for a copy on Nintendo Switch. A lot of people has been looking for answers, regarding if Super Mario Maker 2 is going to be available on handheld devices. Sadly, as of the moment the answer is no. You cannot find any type of Super Mario Maker 2 available for playing on any device. It is currently a Nintendo Switch exclusive game and only the Switch users can enjoy and play the game. Nintendo hasn’t said anything regarding Super Mario Maker 2 being available for any other device, but a lot of people are definitely hoping that the game gets a handheld device version in the future.
